The Wolverines came out of the gate fast and furious tonight against the Lyman Bulldogs and it looked early on that it was going to be an easy night, well, as easy as some of these contests get as Griswold went up early 15-5 after an 11-2 run to start the game. The Bulldogs wouldn’t go away and kept chipping away at the lead until Griswold only led by 3 at the half, 41-38. However, the Wolverines didn’t come out of the locker room it seemed to start the 3rd, matter of fact they didn’t show up at all in the 2nd half. Griswold was outscored by the Bulldogs 32-5 in the 3rd behind the 3 point shooting of Hunter Haymon and mid court general David Lopez, as the pair combined for 49 of the Bulldogs 86 points.
Max Gregory had the hot hand for Griswold hitting for 13 points in the first half and Lyman only allowed Gregory 3 points in the 2nd half. Bryce Mileski did start to heat up for the Wolverines by scoring 8 2nd half points, but the Bulldogs were too far out in front winning by the final score of 86-66
