The first words from Coach Kevin Babcock after the game was, “it wasn’t pretty,” which was the sentiment after the 1st half of play as well. The Wolverines only shot 5 for 21 in the first half and 7 for 39 overall, and scored just 2 buckets in the 2nd half but still managed to pull off a 24-18 win tonight in Montville, a game broadcast live on SNSN.

The charity stripe didn’t give much either as the girls only shot 6 for 17.

On a positive note, this is the first time the Wolverines have started off the year at 4-0 in recent memory. The Wolverines have a tough contest this Saturday as they face Stonington.
