Windsor Man Arrested On Manslaughter Charges From Incident in Windham

Back on June 26, 2019, Connecticut State Police Troopers from Troop K Colchester reported to an apartment on Scott Rd in Windham. It was reported that a 2 year old child had fallen out of their bed that caused serious injuries. The child was in the care of then 23 year old Jeremiah Beason of Windsor.
State Police detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad were contaceed assumed the investigation. The investigation included multiple search and seizure warrants and interviews. Detectives then applied for a warrant with charges of risk of injury to a child, assault 1st degree, and 1st degree Manslaughter.
On March 19, 2020, at 7 AM, the accused, Jeremiah Beason, now 24 years old, and held him on a $500,000 bond. Beason was in court the same day at 10 AM
