Willimantic Teen makes serious threat to court system while being detained

On Tuesday morning at 9:30am, while placing a 16 year old juvenile under arrest and issuing him a summons as a result of 2 separate criminal investigations, he asked for a court date of 9/11.  The juvenile then stated he wanted that date so he could “blow the f****** court up” when he gets there.

The juvenile was also charged with 2nd degree threatening and 2nd degree breach of peace as well as the proper authorities being notified in Willimantic Juvenile court of the verbal threat and to take the appropriate precautionary measures.
