Willimantic Madam Under Arrest

Sheila Velasquez, of Willimantic, has been running a house of ill repute out of her home since December. She was placed under arrest Thursday for running a prostitution ring in the city of Willimantic. Velasquez was arrested without incident and is being held on a $100,000 bond. She was scheduled to appear later in the day in Danielson Superior Court to answer her charges.
