GHS Softball remains undefeated this year after the trouncing of the Wheeler Lady Lions on Thursday, 23-0.  The Wolverines used 2 pitchers.  Maya Waldron started the game going 3 innings and striking out 5 and yielding only one hit.  Julia Janca made her varsity pitching debut today working 2 innings and striking out 6.  Wheeler only had 2 players reach base in game that came to a conclusion after only 4 1/2 innings.

Griswold jumped out early in the first with 5 runs, but that wasn’t enough for the Lady Wolverines because they scored 16 in the 2nd inning alone.  The hit parade was led by Shay Sauvageau who went 4-5.  Brooke Rainville had 3 hits.  Knocking in runs came easy on Thursday as Kamryn Gurnee and Julia Janca each had 3 rbi’s.  Only one Griswold starter didn’t have an rbi.

Griswold improves to 4-0 on the season.  Next up for Griswold softball will be Stafford on Saturday, a game you can listen to on Wolverine Radio starting at 10:45am
