It has been determined that the victim, 40 year old Sabir Hussain, died from smoke inhalation and thermal injuries which is also being deemed a suicide from the Office of the State’s Medical Examiner.
UPDATE: The deceased male has been identified as 40 year old Sabir Hussain, of North Stonington.
Next of kin has been notified.
The investigation remains open and active.
Breaking: A man was found dead in the bathroom of Chucky’s. Local fire departments were dispatched for what was called in as a structure fire. One report is that a piece of carpeting was set on fire in the bathroom where the man was found.
Personnel are waiting for the fire marshal as well as Eastern Major District Crime
