Undercover Investigations Add Additional Charges of Human Trafficking to Man Already Incarcerated

On 11/8/19 the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit arrested 47 year old Simon A. Hessler at Rockville Superior Court. After extensive analysis by the state Forensic Lab, the State Police obtained an arrest warrant for charges of Sex assault 4th degree (4 counts) and Risk of Injury/Impairing the Morals of a minor (4 counts) with a court set bond of $75,000 and a same day arraignment. This is part of a continuing investigation that began with proactive undercover investigations into human trafficking. The State Police Computer Crimes Unit also arrested Hessler last year for attempted Trafficking in persons, sex assault 2nd degree, cruelty to persons, risk of injury to a minor, unlawful restraint, and felony patronizing a prostitute.
