Two Men Arrested for Shooting Rifles in State Commuter Lot

Valley Road. The witness explained that someone was shooting a rifle in the rear of the lot. State Police and Manchester Police responded to the scene, forming a perimeter and securing the area. Multiple loaded firearms were seized as a result of the investigation.
Two men were taken into custody. 26 year old Jesus Omar Rivera-Gonzalez of East Hartford and 24 year old Manuel Polanco of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Both were charged with Failure to comply with commuter lot parking regulations, Illegal possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, carrying a dangerous weapon, and 2nd degree breach of peace.
Both were released on a $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on September 1, 2020. Neither have any pending cases of convictions in the state of Connecticut.
