—TROOPERS CALL K9 DODIE TO DANIELSON TRAFFIC STOP, 86 BAGS OF HEROIN SEIZED, ONE WOMAN ARRESTED—

On December 18, 2016 at approximately 12:30 PM TFC Deojay from the Danielson barracks stopped a vehicle on Franklin Street in Danielson for failing to obey a stop sign. During the course of the traffic stop, Troopers became suspicious that criminal activity was taking place within the car. TFC Monahan and K-9 Dodie arrived on scene and conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle. K-9 Dodie alerted to the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle. K-9 Dodi then alerted on a passenger inside the car, Aleah Talbot (DOB 07/01/1991) of #39 N. Chestnut St., Wauregan. Talbot admitted to having heroin on her person and Troopers seized approximately 86 bags of heroin and 11 strips of Suboxone. Talbot was transported back to Troop D were she was processed and charged with possession of heroin, possession of a controlled substance and possession of heroin with intent to sell. Talbot was held on a $2500 cash/surety bond and is to appear in Danielson Superior Court on December 19, 2016.
