Troopers Arrest Man For DUI and Other Charges While Driving Through I-395 Construction

On September 30, 2018, at approximately 7:30PM, a State Trooper working a highway construction detail on I-395 in Killingly observed an erratic vehicle, running into traffic cones, and following other vehicles too close in the construction pattern. Upon initiating a traffic stop, signs of impairment were detected from the operator 28 year old Maxwell Segal. Segal admitted to consuming alcohol and smoking marijuana and he subsequently failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. and was arrested for – Operating Under the Influence in a Construction Zone, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Following to Close. He was issued a $1,000 cash or surety bond and is to appear in a Danielson Court on 10/10/18.
