Troopers Arrest Brooklyn Man, Seize Heroin Following Motor Vehicle Stop

On January 4, 2017 at approximately 8:00 p.m., troopers from Troop C-Tolland were conducting motor vehicle enforcement I-84 eastbound in the area of exit 69 when they observed a vehicle missing a brake light and the operator conduct a motor vehicle traffic violation. Troopers stopped the vehicle in the area of Route 74 and Route 32 in the Town of Willington. While speaking with the operator determined that there were narcotics possibly contained in the vehicle. Troopers initiated an investigation. Through the course of the investigation, troopers located 49 bags of suspected heroin. The operator, Brian Pomposelli of Tripp Hollow Road, Brooklyn, was taken into custody and transported to Troop C where he was fingerprinted, photographed and released after posting bond pending his court date. Pomposelli was also arrested for possession of heroin by Troop D QLTF back in September 2015.
