On 08/23/2016 at approximately 6:30 pm, Troopers assigned to the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force, Troopers from Troop D, the Killingly Resident Troopers Office as well as the Statewide Narcotics Task Force (East Office) executed a narcotics related search and seizure warrant at #65 Stone Road, Killingly, CT. The search warrant was obtained after a lengthy investigation by the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force revealed Daniel Baillargeon AKA “Digger” (DOB: 03/31/1985) and Tana Dashnaw (DOB: 06/28/1983) was selling heroin from their residence. Troopers made entry into the residence and secured the house after discovering the targets were not home. Troopers set up surveillance on the Kings Inn in Putnam and at approximately 11:00 pm, QLTF Troopers observed Baillargeon and Dashnaw depart a vehicle and walk toward the motel. Troopers detained both parties on the strength of a search warrant for their person. After executing the three search warrants (House, Baillargeon and Dashnaw), Troopers located and seized over an ounce of raw heroin, 3.8 grams of cocaine, nearly $8,000 in cash, three cell phones and a narcotic concealment container. As a result of the search warrant, Daniel Baillargeon and Tana Dashnaw were arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin WITS and Operating a Drug Factory. Both were transported to the Troop D Danielson barracks where they were processed and held on bond and are to appear in Danielson Superior Court on 08/24/16 for possession of heroin, possession of heroin wits and operating a drug factory.
