Troop D Danielson Quality Of Life Task Force Zero Tolerance Campaign Continues – Arrest 6

–TROOP D ZERO TOLERANCE OPERATION – PHASE THREE — SIX ARRESTED–
On 09/07/2016 from 11 am to 7 pm, members of the Troop D – “Quality of Life Task Force” and the Killingly Resident Troopers conducted a Zero Tolerance Enforcement Operation which targeted the Borough of Danielson. Troopers broke up into teams of two and were assigned a high crime area to conduct foot patrols in. The focus of the operation was to reduce nuisance/street crimes such as loitering, drug use/dealing, disturbances, reckless use of the roadways by pedestrians and others. As a result of this initiative, eight arrests were made and four infractions were issued.
While on patrol, Troopers arrested Angela Brodowski (DOB 03/30/1980) of #687 Norwich Road, Plainfield on an active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear in the Second Degree. Brodowski was processed at Troop D and later released on a $250.00 cash bond and will appear in Danielson Superior Court on 09/20/2016.
Troopers stopped Kayla Gould (DOB 10/27/1988) of #15 Prince Street, Danielson for a traffic violation. A DMV check revealed that Gould’s license was suspended; Gould was summonsed to Court in Lieu of an “in custody” arrest. Gould is to appear in Danielson Superior Court on 09/21/2016 to answer to the charges of Operating a MV with a Suspended License and Failure to Wear a Seat Belt.
Killingly Resident Troopers located Angela Pedini (DOB 09/29/1979) of #169 South Main Street, Brooklyn. Pedini held a hard copy arrest warrant for Larceny 6th Degree out of Troop D and a hard copy arrest warrant for Larceny 6th Degree out of Troop C – Tolland. Pedini was processed at Troop D and later released on a $500.00 non-surety bond and will appear in Danielson Superior Court on 09/20/2016. Pedini was turned over to the custody of Troop C in Tolland.
QLTF Troopers stopped a vehicle on Academy Street for a host of traffic violations. A DMV check showed the operator held a suspended driver’s license. Joseph Casanova (DOB 11/01/1985) of #7 Academy Street, Danielson was arrested for Operating under Suspension and Failure to Obey a Stop Sign. Casanova was processed at Troop D and later released on a PTA bond and will appear in Danielson Superior court on 09/20/2016.
Killingly Resident Troopers on patrol located and arrested Alexandria Bardier (DOB 08/14/1995) of #76 Ballouville Road, Killingly and Robert Coman (DOB 10/29/1986) of #486 School Street, Putnam on hardcopy arrest warrants; both for Disorderly Conduct. Both Coman and Bardier were processed at Troop D and later released on $1000.00 cash/surety bonds. Both will appear in Danielson Superior Court on 09/08/2016.
Lastly, QLTF Trooper’s spotted Joshua Robinson (DOB 06/15/1989) of #35 Chestnut Street, Danielson driving on Maple Street. Robinson held an active arrest warrant for Violation of Probation. QLTF Troopers took Robinson into custody without incident and transported him to Troop D. Robinson was processed and held on a $40,000 cash/surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on 09/08/2016.
Troopers also issued (4) infraction tickets for various offenses to include simple trespass, loitering, reckless use of the roadway. This is the third time this summer; Troop D Troopers have conducted a Zero Tolerance Operation. These operations were prompted after Troopers received numerous complaints from various business owners and citizens within the borough of Danielson. Troopers plan on conducting similar operations throughout the fall in an effort to make both areas a safer and friendlier community for business owners, patrons, citizens and visitors to the town.
