Three Car Accident At Hank’s Dairy Bar in Plainfield, One Brought To Hospital

hanksOn June 2, 2016 at approximately 2:22 P.M., Members of the Plainfield Police Department, Plainfield Fire Department, and the American Legion Ambulance responded to Hank’s Dairy Bar, 1006 Norwich Road, Plainfield, Connecticut for a report of a three car accident in the parking lot. It was determined that a 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis, being operated by John Marchese  was parking in a parking spot and when Marchese went to move the vehicle it sped across the parking lot a struck a 2005 Toyota Camry, which was also parked in the parking lot. The Camry was occupied by James Gillespie. The Camry struck an unoccupied 2012 Honda Civic which was parked next to it. Gillespie was transported to Backus Hospital in Plainfield for treatment of his injuries. The accident is currently under investigation.
