Sterling Man Taken to Hospital After One Car Crash in Moosup

On Monday November 13, 2017 at approximately 5:14 P.M., members of the Plainfield Police Department, Moosup Fire Department and American Legion Ambulance responded to a one car motor vehicle crash on New Road, in the Moosup section of Plainfield, Connecticut. Through investigation, it was determined that a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country operated by 29 year old Sean M. Gardner of Sterling, was traveling southbound on New Road, when he failed to maintain his lane, driving down an embankment into a wooded area. Gardner was later transported via American Legion Ambulance to the William Backus Hospital in Norwich to treat possible injuries. This crash remains under investigation.
