***UPDATED*** Sterling Man Injured in One Car Accident ***UPDATED**

Last Night just after midnight, Officers responded to a one car motor vehicle accident with injuries in the area of Harris Road, in the Moosup section of Plainfield, CT. The operator, Warren Tate of  Sterling, was operating a 2000 Audi A4 and was traveling northbound on Harris Road. Tate  lost control of his vehicle and traveled off the southbound portion of the roadway and struck a tree head on.  Moosup Fire Department and American Legion ambulance responded to the accident to assist. Tate was transported by medical personnel to the Backus Hospital in Norwich to treat his injuries.  Wolverine radio had a conversation with Tate’s sister, Nicky, who told us that her brother did  suffer a broken leg, and the injuries are not life threatening.  She also stated that she saw pictures of the accident and that her brother was very lucky.

 

 

 

 

  On 10/12/2016 at approximately 12:12 am, Officers responded to a one car motor vehicle accident with injuries in the area of Harris Road, in the Moosup section of Plainfield, CT. The operator, Warren Tate (w/m Dob 09/15/1980) of 554 Sterling Road, Sterling, was operating a 2000 Audi A4 and was traveling northbound on Harris Road. Tate subsequently lost control of his vehicle and traveled off the southbound portion of the roadway and struck a tree head on. Due to Tate’s injuries, the Moosup Fire Department and American Legion ambulance responded to the accident to assist. Tate was later removed from his vehicle and transported by medical personnel to the Backus Hospital in Norwich to treat his injuries.

This accident remains under investigation.
