State Troopers Looking For Public Assistance in Griswold Break In

Griswold, CT. (August 10, 2017): Connecticut State Troopers from Troop E – Montville are investigating a residential burglary reported in Griswold. No items were reported missing. On August 4, 2017 at approximately 1:16 a.m., troopers from Troop E – Montville were dispatched to a residential burglar alarm on Burton Road in Griswold, CT. When the homeowner heard the alarm he went out to check his barn. As the homeowner was checking his barn he heard movement inside then saw a male break a second story window and jump approximately 20 feet from the window to the ground below. The male was last seen running from the scene through a field and wooded area. Anyone who thinks they may have any information regarding the identity of the suspect, or the burglary is asked to contact Trooper Dwyer at Troop E 860-848-6500 ext. 5008.
