State Troopers from the Marlborough Resident State Trooper’s Office are investigating the fraudulent use of a credit card after it was used at several locations in Manchester and Bloomfield.
On August 9, 2016 troopers from the Marlborough Resident State Trooper’s Office responded to a residence in Marlborough after the victim noticed unauthorized charges on their debit and credit card statements. The victim’s credit card number was possibly obtained by a card skimmer when it was swiped to make a purchase.
Through the course of the investigation troopers learned that the victim’s credit card had been fraudulently used at Home Depot and Target in Manchester and also at Home Depot in Bloomfield.
Recently troopers were able to obtain surveillance footage from these businesses. The surveillance footage shows the suspect and the vehicle he was traveling in. At one of the stores the suspect is also seen with an unknown female.
Anyone who thinks they may have information regarding the suspect identities is asked to contact Troop K at 860-465-5400 or text Tip 711 with any information to 274637. All calls and texts will remain confidential.
