State Police Seek Public’s Assistance in NETTS Burglary

On July 22, 2018 at approximately 6 AM Troop C of the Connecticut State Police, Tolland, was notified of a commercial burglary at 32 Field Rd in Somers, Ct. That is the address of the New England Tractor Training School, otherwise known as “NETTS.” During the investigation, Troopers discovered that not only was forced entry made into an office where a safe was stolen, but numerous mechanical tools specific to diesel mechanics were also taken. A 2002 blue and gray Harley Davidson Soft Tail Heritage Motorcycle with registration 819640 with a factory windshield and two leather saddle bags was also reported stolen. on 8/14/18, Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad (EDMC) assumed the investigation.
