State Police: Looking to the Public to Help Locate a Fugitive

The Connecticut State Police Eastern District Major Crime Squad at Troop E in Montville is attempting to locate 42 year old Fernando Irizzary with a last known address in Willimantic CT. Irizzary has an active and extraditable felony arrest warrant for Failure to Appear in the First Degree. Irizzary was previously being monitored with a court ordered ankle bracelet and was awaiting trial for crimes to include Threatening and Inciting Injuries to a Person. The arrest warrant for Irizzary has a $250,000 Cash Bond Attached.
It is believed that Irizzary fled the state of CT and cut off his ankle bracelet while traveling in New York. Irizzary was last known to be driving a 2006 Hyundai colored grey, bearing CT AU05575. Irizzary is known to have connections in Willimantic, Norwich and New Jersey. Use caution if located and do not approach.
