State Police Detectives Investigate Colchester Bank Robbery

State Police Detectives from Eastern District Major Crime (EDMC) are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the United Bank in Colchester.
On February 8, 2016 at approximately 3:30 p.m., Troopers from Troop K-Colchester responded to the United Bank, 99 Linwood Avenue in Colchester, for a reported bank robbery.
Upon arrival Troopers spoke with bank employees who stated that a white male suspect entered the bank, approached a teller, and handed them a note demanding money.
After obtaining an undetermined amount of cash, the male suspect exited the bank and fled the area in a late model, dark-color vehicle, possibly a purple Mazda, with tinted windows. No weapons were displayed or implied, and no injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’10” tall and was last seen wearing sunglasses, a dark-color baseball hat, a black hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
