Back on April 12th of this year, Connecticut State Police were dispatched to Lantern Hill Rd in Ledyard after receiving a 911 call for a reported shooting. When Troopers arrived they found the victim, 31 year old, Ralph Sebastian Sidberry and pronounced his dead a short while after they arrived.
After an investigation by Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad, an arrest warrant was granted for 30 year old James Armstrong of New London. It was also reported that Armstrong had left Connecticut and possibly was located at an Army national Guard Facility in Missouri. Military police were made aware of the warrant for Armstrong and detained him until the Pulaski County Sherriff’s office was able to take custody.
State Police then flew to Missouri and brought Armstrong back to Troop E where he was processed and charged with Murder. Armstrong is still in custody and being held on $2,000,000 court set bond. Armstrong is due in New London Superior Court on September 18, 2017
