Sam’s Convenience Store in Moosup suffers a break in early Tuesday morning… Plainfield Police ask for help in identifying the suspects

On 08/02/2016 at approximately 1:52 AM the Plainfield Police Department responded to a report that Sam’s Convenient Store located at 219 Main Street in the Moosup section of Plainfield, CT had been broken into.

At the time of the entry the business was closed. Two males tampered with the alarm system and security cameras and subsequently entered the business by smashing the front entranceway. Upon entering an abundance of cigarette and cigar packs were stolen along with money.

Surveillance cameras within the business were able to record the crime. One of the males who concealed his identity with a bandana was wearing what appeared to be a Chicago Bulls flat brimmed hat, a black tank top, gloves, and black track pants with white stripes down the side.

The other male who had a tan complexion wore a grey hooded top, gloves, and black track pants with white stripes down the side. This male did not conceal his face which surveillance was able to record as seen in the attached pictures

The suspects subsequently fled on foot from the scene prior to police notification.
