On February 18, 2016 at approximately 7:15pm, Trooper Kaelberer was conducting speed enforcement on I-84 in the town of Vernon when a silver Fiat was observed traveling at a high rate of speed in the carpool lane.

Using a lazer unit, Kaelberer captured the Fiat at 105 mph in a 65 mph zone and attempted to stop the vehicle. The Fiat then tried to elude the pursuing Trooper by weaving in and out of traffic at speeds greater than 100 mph.

The operator of the Fiat, Coryn Muszynski, eventually came to a stop in the area of Exit 66 and was immediately taken into custody. She was transported to Troop C and was processed and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

She is due to appear in Rockville Court on March 1, 2016.
