Putnam Woman Busted For Crack After Traffic Stop

On 08/24/2018 at approximately 6:35 pm, members of the Troop D – Quality of Life Task Force stopped a vehicle on School Street in Putnam for a motor vehicle violation. Troopers approached the car and noticed several indicators of criminal activity and became suspicious that narcotics may be present in the car. Troopers requested consent to search the car and consent was granted. During a search of the car, Troopers located and seized crack cocaine. Troopers placed 29 year old Melissa Wagner-Carroll of Putnam under arrest without incident. Wagner was transported to Troop D where she was processed and charged with Possession of Narcotics. Wagner was released on a $5,000 bond and is to appear in Danielson Superior Court on 09/05/2018.
