On January 26, 2017 at approximately 7 PM, Troopers from Troop D attempted to locate a juvenile for a “take into custody order”. Troopers had information that the juvenile had been staying with Kayla Gould (dob 10/27/88) at #6 Lyon Street in Putnam. At approximately 7:30 PM, Troopers attempted to locate the juvenile at the residence of Gould, at which time the juvenile exited the apartment through the rear window and fled through the woods. Two hours elapsed without making contact with the juvenile and exhausting all efforts to locate the juvenile. At this time Troopers returned to the residence of Gould and Trooper Bimonte was able to see the juvenile to be in the kitchen of the residence. Troopers questioned Gould about the location of the juvenile and she denied knowing his whereabouts. Troopers then located the juvenile in the house and placed him under arrest for interfering with a police officer and for the take into custody order. Kayla Gould was also arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor and interfering with a police officer. Gould was transported back to Troop D where she was held on a $25,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on February 7, 2017.
