Plainfield Police Respond to Single Car Accident Involving Moosup Man

On November 28, 2020 at approximately 2:16 PM, members of the Plainfield Police Department along with members of the American Legion Ambulance and Central Village Fire Department responded to the area of 227 Green Hollow Road in Central Village for a one car motor vehicle collision.

Through investigation, it was determined that a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette operated by 28 year old Silas Pritchard of Moosup, was traveling northbound on Green Hollow Road when he lost control of his vehicle and drove off of the right side of the roadway, onto the shoulder, struck multiple rocks, and collided into the bushes.

Pritchard was evaluated by members of the American Legion Ambulance and transported to the Plainfield Backus Emergency Care Center for suspected minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
