Plainfield Police Looking For the Public’s Assistance To Identify Attempted Burglary Suspect

On April 30, 2018 at approximately 9:30 PM members of the Plainfield Police Department responded to an attempted robbery at SAM’s Food Mart which is located at 518 Norwich Road in Plainfield, Connecticut. The cashier reported that a Caucasian female entered the business demanding money. When the cashier refused to comply the female fled on foot to a vehicle which was described as a dark mini van parked nearby. No weapon was displayed.

The female was described as approximately 5’04 tall with dark hair. The female was wearing black spandex pants, a pink hooded sweatshirt, a black head garment, and a black scarf concealing her face. The female was also carrying a light colored purse which was believed to be pink in color.
