Plainfield Police Investigating Armed Robbery At Prospect St Bestway Gas Station

plainfield police The Plainfield Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred at the Best Way Gas station located at 2 Prospect Street, in the Moosup section of Plainfield, Connecticut after receiving a 911 call regarding an armed robbery.

The suspect entered the Best Way Gas Station at approximately 5:43 p.m. and left the store on foot at approximately 5:45 p.m. in the northbound direction on Main Street, in Moosup, Connecticut.

The suspect is described as being 5’8’’ to 6’ in height, with a slim build. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored hoody sweatshirt and blue jeans. The suspect was described as having short blonde or brown hair and clean shaven. The suspect is estimated to be 25 to 30 years of age. The suspect displayed a short knife, possibly a pocket knife. The suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash.
