Plainfield Police Conducts Wanted Person Search with Results

On June 29, 2018 at approximately 7:44 P.M., the Plainfield Police Department arrested Zackery Mitchell, 23, of 588 Norwich Road, Plainfield, CT.

Members of the Plainfield Police Department conducted a wanted person check for Mitchell at his residence when he fled on foot prior to Officers entering the residence. A search of the residence was conducted and an Officer located Mitchell hiding under a large amount of debris inside the attic of the residence.

Mitchell refused exit from his hiding spot and refused to show the Officer his hands. Mitchell was subsequently removed from the debris and after a brief struggle Mitchell was placed under arrest without further incident.

Once at the Plainfield Police Department Mitchell was charged with Interfering with a Police Officer and Violation of Probation.

Mitchell is currently being held at the Plainfield Police Department on a combined $25,000.00 and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Danielson Superior Court, on July 2, 2018 at 8:30 A.M.
