Plainfield Man With Multiple Pending Cases Arrested for Stun Gun Possession

On February, 9, 2020 at approximately 12:27 A.M., the Plainfield Police Department arrested 38 year old Eric Terwilliger of Central Village.
While on patrol in the area of Adams Drive, Central Village, CT, an Officer observed a silver Mazda traveling eastbound fail to maintain its lane by traveling into the opposite lane.
A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Adams Drive. The operator of the vehicle was identified as 42 year old David Colon of Plainfield. The passenger was identified as Terwilliger. During the investigation Terwilliger was found to be in possession of a stun gun.
Colon was given a verbal warning for Failure to Maintain Proper Lane.
Terwilliger was placed under arrest and charged with Criminal Possession of an Electronic Defense Weapon. Terwilliger was released on a $20,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear at the Danielson Superior Court on February 24, 2020 at 9:00 A.M.
Terwilliger was recently arrested on drug possession and possession with intent to sell on January 10, 2020 where he has a separate court date for February 18, 2020
