Plainfield Man Goes To Post Bond For Girlfriend.. Gets Arrested Himself Arrested

plainfield policeOn June 20 the Plainfield Police Department arrested Orlando Perez, 35, of Second St., Plainfield, CT.

Perez was taken into custody while at the Plainfield Police Department. After driving to the Plainfield Police Department Perez entered the lobby to post bond for his girlfriend who was currently in custody.

Upon speaking with Perez within the Plainfield Police Department it was determine that Perez appeared under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Perez was uncooperative with Officers and placed under arrest after failing the field sobriety tests.

Perez subsequently refused chemical testing and was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs and is scheduled to appear at the Danielson Superior Court, G.A. 11, on July 5, 2016 at 8:30 A.M.
