Plainfield Man Arrested For Stealing Dirt Bike and Chainsaws

During the morning hours of July 9, 2016 members of the Plainfield Police Department were dispatched to an address on Spaulding Rd for a report of burglary into a garage. The victim’s reported that a 2015 Yamaha 110 dirt bike as well as several chainsaws were taken during the overnight hours.
During the course of the morning and early afternoon Officers continued to investigate the incident and were able to develop a suspect. Shortly before 3:00 PM Officers went to #256 Spaulding Rd where they located the suspect as well as the stolen dirt bike and chainsaws.
The suspect, Joseph Verrette (age 29) of that address, was subsequently placed under arrest and all stolen items were recovered.
Verrette was charged with BURGLARY 3RD DEGREE, LARCENY 3RD DEGREE and LARCENY 6TH DEGREE. Verrette was issued a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court.
