Plainfield Man Arrested For 3rd Time This Week

On February 26, 2019 at approximately 2:40PM members of the Plainfield Police Department arrested 44 year old Shawn Tatro after making contact with him at the Mobil Gas Station located at 518 Norwich Road, Plainfield, Connecticut, for Larceny.
During the month of January, 2019, Tatro sold multiple decors which belonged to the residence that he was renting. Tatro sold items that amounted to approximately $10,000 without the knowledge of his landlord. After a lengthy investigation, an arrest warrant was issued by the Danielson Superior Court, charging Tatro with Larceny on the 3rd Degree.
Tatro was transported to the Plainfield Police Department where he was processed. Tatro was released after being able to securethe $35,000 surety bond set by court.
While Tatro was being released but still inside the Plainfield Police Department, Officers learned that Tatro was texting a female who has a valid Protective Order against Tatro. The victim of the Protective order was at the Police department asTatro was about to be released. Tatro was subsequently taken back into custody for the violation of the protective order andheld on a $100,000 cash/surety bond due to being his 6thviolation of the protective order. Tatro is scheduled be arraigned for the Violation of Protective Order on 2/26/2019 at the Danielson Superior Court. Tatro is scheduled to appear at the Danielson Superior Court, on March 11, 2019 for the Larceny charges. This is the third time that Tatro has been arrested by the Plainfield Police Department this week.
