Plainfield High School Softball Lets One Get Away In Extra Innings

Lyman Memorial bested Plainfield 4-3 when Lyman scored a walk off win against Plainfield on Wednesday in Girl’s High School Softball.  The game went into extra innings where Katy Konow ended the game with a walk off homer against Plainfield pitcher, Grace Fisher.

Plainfield did get some great pitching from Kacee Hirst, her 2nd quality start in a row giving the Panthers 5 2/3 innings, giving up 1 run and striking out 7.  The Panthers also out hit the Bulldogs, 11-10.
