Person Identified in North Stonington Homicide

On April 12, 2017 at approximately 4:15 pm Troopers from Troop E- Montville responded to 628 Lantern Hill Rd., North Stonington for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, Troopers located one victim, identified as 31 year old Ralph Sebastian Sidberry of 628 Lantern Hill Rd, with a gunshot wound suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was later pronounced deceased. State Police Detectives from Eastern District Major Crime responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. As the investigation progressed detectives identified a person of interest. Detectives continue to investigate, interview witnesses and a person of interest in this shooting. There is no threat to the public or community.
