Overturned Vehicle On Snake Meadow Rd in Moosup – Owner not Present

On December 22, 2015 at approximately 10:58 P.M., the Plainfield Police Department responded to a one car motor vehicle accident in the area of 424 Snake Meadow Rd., Moosup, CT. Members of the Moosup Fire Department, and American Legion Ambulance was also dispatched to the scene of the accident.
Upon arriving on scene, Officers located an unoccupied grey 2009 Nissan Infiniti overturned in the woods lying on its roof. It appeared as though the vehicle was traveling northbound on Snake Meadow Road when it traveled off the southbound portion of the roadway striking a stone wall. The vehicle then overturned and slid for approximately 200 feet before it finally came to rest off the northbound portion of the roadway on its roof in a wooded area. The vehicle sustained a substantial amount of damage and no operator or passengers were located anywhere in the area. Police and Fire personnel searched the area with infrared cameras and a police K-9 track was also conducted with negative results. The vehicle came back registered to a Lynn Navin and Lisa Marois with a listed address of 44 Ventura Dr., Brooklyn, Ct.
Along with the above listed address, officers checked multiple addresses for the registered owners but were unsuccessful in locating them.
