One Gets A Ticket, One Goes To The Hospital In Moosup 2 Car Crash

On November 9, 2019, at approximately 11:53 a.m., Officers from the Plainfield Police Department along with the American Legion Ambulance responded to a two-car motor vehicle crash on Prospect Street just east of Squaw Rock Road.

A 2016 black Chevrolet operated by 31 year old Timothy Horne  was stopped in traffic westbound on Prospect Street waiting for the steady red light to change. A 2007 Toyota operated by 24 year old Cheyenne Mullin was also traveling westbound on Prospect Street when she struck the rear of Horne’s Chevrolet. Mullin was transported by the American Legion Ambulance to the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, Connecticut for treatment of suspected minor injuries.

Mullin was issued an infraction for Failure to Drive a Reasonable Distance Apart.  

This crash remains under investigation.
