One Airlifted to UMASS After Motorcycle Accident In Brooklyn

Life saving measures were performed on a motorcycle operator in Brooklyn on Tuesday, August 28th at approximately 6:45 P.M. in Brooklyn after an accident. The operator of the 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle, 35 year old Chad Robinshaw of Mansfield, Ct., was traveling north on Pomfret Rd approximately two tenths of a mile south of Barrett Hill Rd. The bike went off the right side of the road, went through some roadside brush and ended up in a small pond. Robinshaw was taken to Day Kimball Hospital where he was then air lifted to UMASS Hospital for suspected serious injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
