Norwich PD Team Up with FBI on Nationwide Prostitution Sting Operation

Norwich Police along with the FBI teamed up on an investigation that resulted in 5 people getting arrested for prostitution last week which was all part of a nationwide sex trafficking sting operation.  The operation was called “Operation Cross Country XI” which has a target of finding underage girls that are forced into prostitution.

Last Friday, Detectives from the Norwich Police Department along with agents from the FBI went undercover and answered ads that were posted on web sites for prostitution.  During the operation, 5 people were charged with prostitution.  The people that were charged are as follows:  Passion Adams of New Haven, Ashley Harnois of Woonsocket, Nicole Larosa of Ledyard, Tamara Dean of Providence  Jerome Taylor of New London was also charged with promoting prostitution as well as interfering with an officer.  All were held on $5000 bond  and are expected in Norwich Superior Court on 10/26
