Norwich Man Sent to Hospital After One Car Accident on Kate Downing Rd In Plainfield

On June 8, 2016 at approximately 12:08 A.M., members of the Plainfield Police Department, American Legion Ambulance, and Plainfield Fire Department responded to the area of 166 Kate Downing Rd., Plainfield, CT, after dispatch received a report of a one car accident.

Upon arriving off scene Officers observed a grey Chevy Malibu off the roadway with front end damage and a collapsed roof. The operator was identified as Joshua Hay, 22, of Norwich, CT. Hay was subsequently transported to Backus Emergency Room, Norwich, CT, for a possible head injury.

This accident is still currently under investigation.
