Nissan Versa T-Boned In Lisbon Walmart Parking Lot Accident

On September 16, 2020 at approximately 11:45 AM, there was a 2 car crash at Lisbon Landing, 160 River Rd in Lisbon. Lisbon EMS, Jewett City and Lisbon Fire Departments, as well as American Ambulance responded to the call.
A black 4 door BMW was driving out of the Walmart parking area where he was parked towards the middle section of the store. As the driver was moving he, was not able to stop his car and T-Boned a Nissan Versa, driven by a local woman, roughly in her 20’s, since names and addresses were not released on scene.
According to an eye witness at the scene of the accident, also stating that he was the brother of the woman driving the Nissan, said that “It seemed that the driver of the car that hit my sister was passed out at the wheel.” According to another eyewitness it was also stated that Narcan was administered to the driver of the BMW who was possibly suffering from an overdose at the time of the accident.
Both drivers were taken to Backus Hospital via American Ambulance for treatment of possible injuries sustained from the accident. The man driving the BMW had 2 passengers in the car that were unharmed and didn’t need medical assistance.
The BMW however did have their airbags deploy in the collision. The accident is currently under investigation.
