On February 23, 2017 at approximately 6:18 PM the Plainfield Police Department served a narcotics related arrest warrant on Aleah Talbot, age 25, of Wauregan, Connecticut. The arrest was based on the narcotics search and seizure warrant that was executed on February 14, 2017 by the Plainfield Police Department on the residence of 39 North Chestnut Street in the Wauregan village of Plainfield, Connecticut.
As a result of the search and seizure warrant, the Plainfield Police Department seized several bags of heroin, marijuana and other illicit narcotic related substances and paraphernalia. Due to Talbot not being at the residence at the time of warrant execution an arrest warrant affidavit was applied for and subsequently granted.
Talbot has been charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Talbot was held on a $50,000 court set surety bond which she was able to secure. Talbot is scheduled to appear at Danielson Superior Court on March 6, 2017.
The Plainfield Police Department is urging all residents to report suspicious and/or narcotic activity to our anonymous tip line at 860-564-0765 or to any officer.
