NARC ARREST IN DANIELSON

Danielson, CT (February 9, 2016): State Troopers from the Connecticut State Police Troop D-Danielson Quality of Life Task Force made narcotics arrest stemming from a November 2015 investigation.
On November 30, 2015 at approximately 5:50 pm, Troopers from the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force, the Killingly Resident Troopers, and Troop D patrol Troopers went to The Sports Page Bar, 14 Central Street, Killingly, to conduct a routine bar check.
While conducting the bar check Trooper’s located, and seized, a leather jacket that was left on a bar stool. Inside the pockets, Troopers discovered approximately 20 grams of crack cocaine pre-packaged for sale. Troopers initiated an investigation where they were able to determine that the jacket and the crack cocaine belonged to Jude Abellard a.k.a. “Face”. Troopers from the Quality of Life Task Force applied for, and were granted an arrest warrant for Abellard by the superior court.
On February 8, 2016 at approximately 9:30 pm, the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force, Killingly Resident Troopers Office, and Troopers from Troop D responded to Abellard’s residence in an attempt to serve the active arrest warrant. Troopers subsequently located Abellard inside his residence and placed him under arrest. Troopers also located and seized 72 baggies of crack cocaine pre-packaged for sale, a digital scale, packaging material and $576.00 in US currency. The crack cocaine weighed approximately 42 grams and had an estimated street value $4,200.00.
Jude Abellard was transported to Troop D where he was processed and held on bond pending his court date. All seized evidence was transported to Troop D where it was held.
