Multiple Fire Departments Dispatched to Lisbon Walmart

The Lisbon Walmart, specifically Dunkin’ Donuts inside of Walmart was the scene of what was described as a structure fire at approximately 10:30, Thursday morning. Crews from Jewett City, Griswold, Taftville, and a “fast team” from Yantic were all dispatched to the scene.  The fire was found to be a possible electrical issue, but nothing was found.   Walmart was evacuated as well as Dunkin’ Donuts and people were able to return shortly.  No injuries were reported for this incident.
