Motorcycle Rider Sent to Hospital via Lifestar Helicopter

On Sunday, September 15, 2019 at approximately 10:20 PM, A 2001 Honda motorcycle ridden by 33 year old Gordon Reynolds of Norwich was traveling east on Rte 66 in Columbia Ct. The motorcycle collided with a 1998 Honda Accord, which was traveling west on Rte 66, driven by 37 year old Eric Millette of Columbia. Reynolds was ejected from the motorcycle when the Accord slowed and attempted to turn onto Pine St in Columbia. Reynolds was taken via Life Star helicopter to St. Francis Hospital in Hartford with serious injuries and Millette was taken to the Marlborough Clinic by Columbia EMS for minor injuries.
