Moosup Man Arrested on Multiple Assault Charges

On November 21, 2019 at approximately 4:39 P.M., Members of the Plainfield Police Department arrested Kyle R. Wright, 34, of Moosup, CT. On November 18, 2019 at approximately 10:58 a.m., Members of the Plainfield Police Department responded to an address in Moosup for a report of a third party domestic disturbance. It was determined that Wright had been in an physical altercation with a family member, which resulted in Wright being subsequently arrested for Assault 3rd, and Disorderly Conduct. A second victim arrived while Officers were on scene and disclosed that she had been assaulted multiple times in different locations by Wright throughout the weekend. An investigation was conducted and Arrest Warrant Affidavit was applied for and granted by the Danielson Superior Court. And on November 21, 2019, Wright turned himself in to the Plainfield Police Department
Wright was subsequently charged with 2x Counts of Assault 3rd Degree, 2x Counts of Disorderly Conduct, 4x Counts of Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree, Unlawful Restraint, and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree. Wright was held on a court set $50,000.00 cash or surety bond pending his arraignment in the Danielson Superior Court on November 22, 2019.
