Moosup Man Arrested For Threatening With A Fake Firearm

On February 22, 2022 at approximately 1:03 PM members of the Plainfield Police Department responded to the area of 39 Prospect St in Moosup for a report of a male being threatened with a firearm.

Upon arrival, Officers quickly identified the male party who allegedly had the firearm and he was detained. Investigation determined that two males were involved in a verbal argument in the parking lot of the apartment complex. During the argument one of the males brandished, what was later determined to be a facsimile firearm. The facsimile firearm was located in an apartment within the complex.

As a result of this incident 35 year old Tracy L. Perry of Moosup was taken into custody and charged with BREACH OF PEACE 2ND DEGREE, THREATENING 2ND DEGREE and BRANDISHING A FACSIMILE FIREARM. Perry is due to appear in Danielson Superior Court on March 7, 2022.
