Midnight Shift Troop D Troopers Make Burglary / Assault Arrest

On 7/6/2017, at approximately 2:36 am, Troop D Troopers responded to a residence in Killingly for a reported burglary in progress. Audrea Quinones (DOB 4/24/78) and Adam Eldib (DOB 12/25/81) arrived at the residence where they forced open a bedroom window and knocked over a television. Quinones was yelling at the female victim and demanded she come outside. The victim ran into another room and locked herself inside. Quinones and Eldib went to the front door and then went inside the house where they were met by an elderly male that resided in the house. The elderly male attempted to block Quinones but was pushed out of the way allowing her to get to the bedroom door. Quinones was able to force the bedroom door open, where she grabbed the victim by her hair and scratched her arm. The victim was on the phone with 911 when this occurred. The accused observed the phone call to the State Police and then fled the scene. Troopers identified the accused parties and later identified their residence. Troopers arrived at the accused residence in Putnam where both parties were currently staying. Both were placed under arrest without issue and transported to Troop D. Both were charged with violation of C.G.S 53a-61: Assault 3rd, C.G.S 53a-117: Criminal Mischief, C.G.S 53a-102: Burglary 2nd, C.G.S 53a-182: Disorderly Conduct. Both accused parties were held on $50,000.00 cash / surety bond and are scheduled to appear Danielson Superior Court on 7/6/2017 at 0900 hours.
